Protection of the environment is perhaps the most important issue facing the world today. Sinto is addressing environmental issues with technological experience and equipment developed from over 60 years in the foundry industry. The Sinto group offers a wide range of specialized technology from sampling and measuring equipment, to industrial and municipal recycling systems.
Sinto's goal is to to produce environmentally-friendly technology, equipment, and services to treat air, water, and solid waste. We continually strive to maintain and continue the development of advanced technology while simultaneously protecting the environment.
As part of Sinto's continued commitment to providing industry with complete environmental solutions, Sinto has established the Sinto Environmental Center and the Mikawa branch office of the Tokai Technical Center, in a new facility recently completed within our Toyokawa Works production facilities. This new facility was established to provide comprehensive environmental measurement and analysis services, such as investigating potentially polluting processes, collecting test specimens, analyzing specimens, and developing countermeasures to neutralize harmful and polluting substances such as Dioxins.

High Concentration Analysis Room
Within the Sinto Environmental Centers 300m2 area, Sinto has created a completely contained testing and treatment facility that protects workers analyzing harmful substances and prevents these substances from escaping into the outside environment.
Analysis Equipment
The Sinto Environmental Center showcases the latest environmental measurement and testing equipment, for instance, this new facility features gas chromatography equipment that is able to collect and analyze very small trace elements from a large volume of gas.
Analysis Laboratories
The Sinto Environmental Center is comprised of 8 separate laboratories that handle various tasks such as test specimen adjustment, low density analysis, high density analysis instrument analysis, GC/MS, and a data analysis laboratory designed to ensure high accuracy when analyzing very small amounts of trace elements.
Contaminated Materials
The Sinto Environmental Center tests many types of materials for traces of contaminating substances, such as Dioxin, which is found in exhaust fumes from incinerators.

Reduce: Processes and equipment are redesigned and planned to use resources more efficiently, cutting down on waste.
Reuse: Converting or reclaiming waste products back into useable resources.
Recycle: Taking all waste products that cannot be reused and attempting to convert them to a form that can be used as raw materials for other industries.
